Wee Jasper is renowned the world over for its magnificently preserved early Devonian
specimens.
Especially famous are the remnants of bone from this period known as “the Age of Fishes”. In these limestone formations lie almost perfectly preserved - magnificent 3 dimensional specimens of placoderms, Lungfish etc.
Tours are by appointment only at a mutually agreed time.
